BECOME A KIDS CAN MENTOR TODAY!
It doesn’t take special skills to be a mentor! All you need is time and a willingness to help kids build their self-esteem and make good choices!
Here’s how you can help… Mentors meet with youth at Kids Can Community Center once a week and spend their time playing games, reading, or just talking. The presence of a caring, stable adult in a child’s life can lead to better grades and a greater chance of success in life!
WHO ARE THE MENTEES?
· B oys and girls aged 7-13 years
· Noah* is an eight year old at Kids Can who is waiting for a mentor. He loves Yogi Bear, scary stories, and baseball.
· Mandy*, an eleven year old, likes science and wants to be a veterinarian when she gets older.
