Full Day Child Care & (ages 18 months - 4 years)
This program is designed to compliment the preschool program but may also be used as stand-alone childcare for toddlers. The Kids Can FullCare l program is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. providing constant care, nutritionally balanced meals/snacks, and activities including games, puzzles, working with clay, beads, stories, and arts & crafts. We maintain a small staff:child ratio to ensure the safety and personal attention your child needs. The fee for this program is available on a 1/4-day, 1/2-day or full-day rate and includes preschool.
Our goal is to make your child’s first classroom an atmosphere of discovery, fun and learning. Preparing children for Kindergarten, our curriculum takes advantage of the small classroom size exposing children to math concepts, the alphabet, shapes, and science in exciting and innovative ways. The Kids Can preschool is state-licensed and all of our teachers have extensive experience and education in early childhood development.

The Kids Can preschool program focuses on all aspects of learning including cognitive development, gross and fine motor skills, socialization and language, and self-help skills. Students are given a progress report three times a year to assess their progress. Learning is done in such a way that children are exposed to many opportunities and given encouragement to try new things and express their uniqueness. Our program is further enhanced with several field trips through out the year including the Pumpkin Patch, the Zoo, Fire Department, and others. We also have Winter Holiday and Graduation programs where the children are able to showcase their learning and talents.
The overall purpose of the Kids Can preschool is to provide opportunities for each child to develop to his/her fullest potential according to his/her own ability, both academically and socially in a pressure-free atmosphere. We are also proud to be part of the HALO program (Healthy Alternatives for Little Ones) whose goal is to reduce the risk of future alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use through weekly lessons that discuss topics such as families, feelings, our bodies and organs, and healthy and harmful choices.

However, we do offer half day and full day programs for pre-determined OPS closings (parent teacher conferences, in-service days, spring and winter breaks, etc.)
